Private training is reserved for dogs that have completed their foundation but are not quite ready to move on to the group training. During these private sessions we will target concerns such as handling issues, resource guarding, vocalization, etc. Private sessions are designed to give you more one-on-one attention so we can fine tune behaviors and get you back into the fun of group sessions! All private sessions are scheduled at the trainers discretion and offered up to once a week completely complimentary. Call to find out more!
The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are crucial when it comes to training. Our puppy training program covers information on puppy success, potty training, crate training, chewing, and proper exposure. This lays the foundation for general obedience, confidence building, and socialization. Puppy training is complimentary for dogs under 16 weeks with the purchase of an advanced Day Train Program. We also offer a puppy package without the purchase of an advanced program for $400 dollars. Call to find out more!
At Sit Means Sit Charleston, our Day Care Training is our most popular program. This style of training gives you and your family the opportunity to be more hands-on in the training without having to part with your pup overnight. We work with your dog during the day and give you a complimentary session to teach you what we worked on. All you have to do is stay consistent with your pup week-to-week! Request a free evaluation to get a customized plan for your dog.
We offer two levels of Group Class. After you graduate from the program you will be invited to join our Basic Class where we continue to fine tune what you learned during foundation. This class is about making sure your dog can be attentive to you despite the distractions. Get ready for leaf blowers, vacuums, flying balls, and more! You’ll have the opportunity to test out into the Advanced setting where we work on long distance recalls, off leash control, and of course have some fun on the agility course! We also offer Canine Good Citizen evaluations and AKC Trick Testing which includes novice, intermediate, master, and performer levels. Call to find out more!
If you’re going on vacation or moving, our Board & Train program may be the best fit for you. We do all of the heavy lifting for you, and your pup will have our full attention as we work with them each day and night. Once you return, we will pass those skills off to you and ask you to be consistent until the next follow-up session. Once your program is complete, you will have access to our group training classes for additional support! Slots are limited, so reservations for specific Board & Train dates should be made 3-6 weeks in advance. Call (843) 733-7386 for availability today.
